Virginia Salata joins the lab as an LHSI intern for 2014-2015

 

Summer 2014

The lab was full with interns from all levels (high school students through Project SEED, undergraduates from here and afar, and medical students throughte SRPinAM program). 

-Aryman Gupta (Carmel High School) helped worked on a novel testing technique to be used on articular cartilage (see newletter article here)

-Mohammad Aref (MS 1 student) helped worked on a novel testing technique to be used on articular cartilage

 

 

 

May 2014

Received funding through NIH-National Library of Medicine for a 2 year project working with informationist Beth Whipple to expand the efficiency and dissemination of our combination treatement project. Excited to have Beth as a member of the resarch team.

 

As a Co-PI with Dr. Joey Wallace (IUPUI BME) received an internal grant through the Biomechanics and Biomaterials Reserach Center to study the the efficacy of combination drug treatment in a model of osteogenesis imperfecta.
