Received his BS (Exercise and Health Science) from Alma College in 1998 and PhD (Health and Kinesiology) from Texas A&M Univeristy in 2003. Postdoctoral fellowship at IU School of Medicine with Dr. David Burr. Tenure-track faculty member at IUSM Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology since 2008. Adjunct position in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine, IUSM.
Drew Brown, BA

Received his BA (Biology) from Franklin College in 2011. Part-time research assistant in the laboratory during his junior/senior year at Franklin and full-time member since 2011.
Erin McNerny, PhD

Received her BS (Materials Science and Engineering) from the Univeristy of Florida in 2004, her MS (Biomedical Engineering) from the University of Michigan in 2006, and her PhD (Biomedical Engineering)from University of Michigan in 2014. Joined the laboratory as a post-doctoral fellow in November 2014.
Chris Newman, MS
MD/PhD student
Received his BA (Anthropology/Zoology) from Miami University in 2007 and his MS (Human Biology) from Universitiy of Indianapolis in 2010. Entered medical school at IU School of Medicine in 2010 and began his PhD in the summer of 2012. Funded through an NIH/NIDDK F30 training grant.
